The 7/7 Terrorist attack in Central London, the Buncefield Oil Refinery incident in Hertfordshire UK (2005) and the National UK Flooding incident in (2007) are all National Response efforts that I have personally coordinated at the higher levels during my career.

From 2000, I became involved with the international "Train the Trainer" program with the Institution of Fire Engineers.  The objective was to deliver a community safety program to the Uganda Fire Serivce in Central East Africa.  Following this, I have remained active in setting and marking the Fire Engineering Science exam papers for the Institution of Fire Engineers as a senior examiner.

In addition to this wealth of experience in Crisis Management, I hold an extensive range of qualifications which includes holding the Chartered Safety practitioner status of IOSH, being a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI), the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors (CIEA) and the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM), of which I have recently passed the Certified Emergency Managers Exam. But the jewel in the crown of my personal and professional qualifications was achieving the prestigious grade of "Fellow" of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE).
